injury that promotes an active lifestyle through opportunities
for social interaction, physical activity and community involvement.

Goals
and Objectives
Build a safe
supportive environment that promotes
participants’ independence and a sense of belonging
and acceptance. Networks supports individuals by:
- ensuring the
safety of participants
- developing
healthy long-term relationships
- respecting
participants freedom of choice and independence
Promote an
active lifestyle through programming that supports the physical,
cognitive, social, and emotional needs of the participants.
Network supports by:
- identifying
the needs and interests of participants
- opportunities
for recreation and social interaction
- opportunities
for participants to discuss concerns
Strengthen
community involvement through knowledge of community resources,
community events, and building a sense of belonging in the
network community. Network supports by:
- familiarity
with community resources for recreation and social opportunities
- opportunities
for participants to take part in events to reduce isolation
- referring participants
to community

| Recreation Opportunities: There
is a variety of leisure activities such as pool and foosball
table, cards, board games, lunch making, baking, computers,
crafts, community outings, karaoke and bingo.
Scheduled
Programs : Chitchat group,
sewing, ceramics, synergize, ladies self wellness, volleyball,
art and fitness.
